Breaking Down, the perfect way to describe Breaking Dawn - The breaking down of the Twilight series.
Or at least for me it is.
Breaking Dawn was:
- a disappointment
- a major letdown
- terrible.
- the end of my love for the Twilight series.
Yes, for me it was really that bad.
No seriously, after waiting months for the damn book, couldn't it be any better?
My BD Con List :
1. The characters are so different from Twilight, New Moon etc. Okay, mainly Bella. Back in Twilight, she was timid and shy but now she's asking Edward for sex. After reading Twilight for the first time, I never thought she'd be a sex addict. But I guess something's dont change. She's still as whiny as before. Sigh...
2. The plot - I wasn't exactly overjoyed that Bella got pregnant. Didn't like it. So 'fanfictiony'. Why couldn't SM be more creative than vampumans?
3. Renesmee - It's like a bad take on Albus Severus. JK Rowling got away with it but SM's not going to. Yeah, and she's going to be fully matured by the time she's 7? WTF?
4. Book 3 went on forever. Or at least for me it did. I was hoping there would be a fighting scene with the Volturi. Sure, I loved the new vampires that were introduced like Benjamin but the whole thing led up to a fighting scene which was actually nothing?
5. The whole thing is too happy for me. Nothing life threatening ever happens to Bella. I'd rather someone died.
6. Not enough Alice scenes! One of my favourite characters and she had lame scenes. WHAT WAS SM THINKING?
My BD Pro List (There's only one. So much for 'list'.)
1. Jacob Black finally imprinted. Right, I'm disgusted that he imprinted on Renesmee but at least he found someone after 3 books of sucking up to whiny Bella Swan.
And that ends my rant.
What was she thinking?
